Rarely seen Pax Golden View Rangefinder camera, c. 1955. Very scarce camera. And what a looker. Just a beautiful camera. Cosmetically, its beautiful showing very little wear/use - strong 9 condition. Package Includes "gold" lens cap, gold lens shade, yellow filter, green leather case and green hood/filter leather pouch.
Shutter works fine. Lens is clean and clear. Viewfinder window a bit cloudy. Rangefinder image is good with contrast - however, lens focusing mechanism is not focusing the camera - it needs some adjustment/repair (common ailment for this camera). Aperture blades dry, but aperture ring is frozen. A repair to the lens/shutter would be needed to use the camera but this camera is really about it's stunning good looks. Case is split but otherwise nice in its matching green leather. $ 319 plus shipping.

You can see the issue with the focusing in the video below. The knob turns a ring around the lens which should turn the rangefinder unit, but the ring is slipping.
