The price shown is the average amount one should expect to have to pay for a Canon camera in excellent, but used, condition. Camera should be fully functional as a classic camera with a mostly clean appearance, showing light signs of use or age. Mechanics should be working, but may need a CLA service. Pricing was gathered from sales mainly on ebay.com. Expect to pay +25% more buying from a dealer with a return policy. Listed in chronological order. Cameras finished in black enamel carry significant premiums, most are rare and worth $ 1,200-2,500. Prices are for the camera body only. Lenses mentioned are lenses that were originally offered for the camera. Lenses will add to value, especially if rare or a fast lens.

Note - prices have dropped significantly in the 5 years. Many models are owth 50% of that were in 2011.

Please note: only the Canon's that featured the universal 39mm Leica screw mount are listed. Older models are far less common and featured non-standard lens mounts.
